After the coup (February 1, 2021), many of the government owned public hospitals in Myanmar
have
been closed. Fragile health infrastructure in Myanmar compounded by the coup worsens the
situation for people to get access to necessary health care.
Therefore, EZ Care Tele-consultation service was initiated by a group of young medical
doctors
with the goals as follows;
- Doctors who are doing Civil Disobedience Movement and left their positions as government
medical officer will continue their regular healthcare service for people who need
medical
advice and treatment by tele-consultation.
- Even people in the hard-to-reach rural area from Myanmar to get access to healthcare
consultation in prompt and effective way from the experts and specialists.
- Reduce morbidity and mortality caused by unskilled person(quacks) by improving access to
care for people across Myanmar.
- Multi-languages telemedicine platform to relieve the language barriers faced by the
tribal
people across Myanmar.
- Operational research on access to healthcare by rural and urban people after coup
